It is easy to get distracted with daily life and miss the important messages that out bodies are telling us, and before we know it we are exhausted or in some sort of physical pain or discomfort. Many people today are experiencing stress, emotional trauma, and anxiousness and thus not connected to their body.
Empowering people with the tools and knowledge to be self-responsible about looking after their own health brings with it long term sustainability that not only benefits the individual's personal development and health, but ultimately their work productivity. There will always be challenging and stressful situations arising within the workplace, but it is the stress management tools that keeps one connected to the body that influences how one chooses to handle them - and thus can make a substantial difference to how one feels and workplace harmony.
Meditation and yoga, for example, have proven to be very effective wellbeing & stress management tools in the workplace which is why a growing number of organizations are including these health services for their staff.
